About usSince 2003 our company goal has been to develop the area into a year round tourist retreat. Today Pensar Syd is a recreation area perfect is if your wanting a place to try to get a way for the hustle and bustle of city and recharge. We are ready to handle all sizes of groups, from the lone traveler to a corporate retreat.  | Historic. From the 1930's until 1944, the area was used by the Archipelago Civilian guard (Skyddskåren) and the Finnish Women's Voluntary Defense Service (Lottornas), for exercise and education.
Most of the building from that period still remain. In 1938, the Civil Guard of the archipelago erected a monument in memory of the fight for freedom, which took place in the archipelago of Turku in 1918. |
